Check in was easy, the ladies at the desk were so warm and welcoming. Very refreshing after our long drive from Minnesota.

I've been coming to the Sanddollar for the past 30 years. I believe it to be the perfect location, between Clearwater and St Pete Beach. The staff has always been very professional and helpful. A perfect play to relax, enjoy the weather, and the many restaurants in the area.

The Sand Dollar was a great resort. Very happy with the accommodation of 509. The balcony had enough chairs and the view was lovely. We enjoyed the pool area and BBQ area. The BBQs are charcoal not gas or electric. Just know that this condo has minimal extras. No spices, oils, paper towel, 1 roll, toilet paper three rolls, no dish soap, lots of dish washer pods though. No shampoo or conditioner, no bathroom cleaners or toilet brush. The beach chairs are in bad shape so we bought two that we left there. Lots of beach towels and some sand toys and pool noodles. There is also a beach cart but we didn't need it. Over all it was a great place to stay with friendly staff. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Sand Dollar resort and had an amazing time. The condo we stayed in was spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were well cared for and cleaned daily. It was amazing being right on the beach with breathtaking views. Sand Dollar was within walking distance of a cute park and basketball court for a little friendly competition. We would definitely recommend Sand Dollar to any friends or family.

We had a wonderful time in 509. It seems like we've stayed in all of the Sand Dollar units over the past 30 years. But 509 was definitely one of the best. Great views, big and open living space, huge closets. Plenty of space for a 2/2, will definitely stay in this unit in the future.

We stayed at the Sand Dollar, which had some great features; gulf side pool, combo pad door entry, huge units, great view, washer & dryer in the units. The unit had everything we needed. I was disappointed that the grills are charcoal & in terrible shape. If these were upgraded it would make this place hard to beat. There was only one elevator that got congested. We took the stairs mostly & that was easy to overlook. I was disappointed that several guests left their pop up shelters & sun tents up the entire length of our stay blocking the shoreline & management would not address. Ultimately it would be the cops to enforce rude people leaving trash out. Just be aware it's against city code to leave out on the beach. Overall it was a great quiet place on the beach with an abundance of amenities. The water was so turquoise & clear. There is a beach service you can rent that sets up a cabana every day & takes it down for you. Highly recommend Beach Service West- but you will need cash or check.

My wife and I are semi retired and love staying here because it's directly on a beautiful section of beach, is convenient to everything, and is a well-managed and maintained property. The office staff are always friendly and helpful, and the units are clean and well- maintained as well. The sunsets and sounds of the waves never get old. Wish I could say the same about myself !

We had an excellent experience. The rental transaction was smooth, check-in and check-out were easy, all expectations were clearly communicated, the condo unit was exceptionally clean, there is plenty of parking, and the property is very well maintained. We will 100% stay here again.

Everything was absolutely perfect at the Sand Dollar. Everything was simple from check in to check out. Unit had tons of chairs etc. For use on the beach. We flew in so this was perfect since we didn't have beach towels. Those were to our surprise included with our unit. We 100% will book here again. So many people complain about the elevator but the entire week max we may e had to wait 5 minutes 1 time. Never was a problem.

We come every year and 509 is our favorite room. We love the pier and the view from the balcony. The room has always been clean and ready for our week stay. Being so high up we can't use the stairs as much, the elevator is always busy, super slow, and hot! Would love to see AC and some faster speeds.However, my one complaint would be the refrigerator. It has been the same basic one for some time and would love to see one that has water in the door. We spend so much money buying water jugs and bottles and add to the plastic problem. Would love to be able to get water from the fridge, to cut down on those things.

The condo was wonderfully decorated, nicely stocked and very spacious. The top floor views are amazing. The pool is a great size and was heated and the hot tub is very spacious. The renting process is super easy. Great price for the space we had. What I loved most was every morning the dolphins would do their daily swim by the pier. With the hurricane hitting Ft Myers it was very busy. Being above the pool it got kinda loud and the elevator was always packed. We will definitely be back but will make sure we get a condo on the opposite side of the pool and on the first 2 floors to utilize the stairs more. The service was excellent, the condo was perfect. We had a great week. We will be back next year.

We always enjoy coming to Sand Dollar.Spacious unit. It could use an upgrade on the mattresses and some nicer frying pans as we like to cook in. Otherwise the front desk is always friendly, pool and hot tub are nice and love the close access to the beach. Wish they had one bedroom units there as it gets a little pricey for a 2 or 3 bedroom and we don't need that.

As usual had a great experience at the sand dollar. Easy check in and out. Great condo. Only issue, which I don't think they have much control over was the amount of people on the beach in front of the condo who were not staying there. Best I could tell anyway. Mostly teenagers who seemed to gather at night and stay all day. Some trying to use the bathroom areas by the pool or attempting to gain access to the main building. In many years of coming to JC resorts and the Sand Dollar I have never experienced that before. They were only loud a few nights late.

Great location and wonderful on site staff at Sand Dollar! Our unit was basic but worked. I wish the balcony furniture was better. Only one chair that was clean and the others were really beat up. would have been nice to have two bar height chairs. The kitchen had what we needed and any issues were resolved by the great staff.

It was good for the most part. Maintenance needs attention. The elevator is unreliable. It kept getting stuck on one floor or another and wouldn't move. The TV remote in my living area was a frustrating experience. I reported it but it didn't improve. It was unresponsive and several of the buttons didn't work at all. I have exactly the same system and remote at home, so it wasn't being misused by me. The new flooring and wall color are lovely. The beds are very comfortable. It's sad that there is no housekeeping services anymore. I understand that Covid has caused some of these changes. The ladies in the office were very nice and helpful, particularly Annette. She is a great asset.

We have stayed at Sand Dollar several times in the past and keep coming back because of the great location, nice amenities and the friendly, helpful staff at the front desk. We love the close proximity to the beach, the beautiful sunsets, and enjoy the pool and hot tub. We also appreciate the availability of the charcoal grills. The condo was clean and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked. The major issue we had was the uncomfortable king bed. Not only was it uncomfortable to sleep on (which we adjusted to after about a week) but the mattress squeaked every time you sat on either side, making enough noise to disturb the each other every time one of us would get in or out of bed. The other disappointment was the balcony furniture. In the pictures we saw the tall chair and table and assumed there would be two tall chairs to allow us to enjoy breakfast on the balcony(something we look forward to on each of our visits). There is a small, short round side table but it was no where near big enough to eat from. The microwave would trip the GFCI about half the time we used it. We reported this to the front desk toward the end of our stay, waiting because it worked fine for over a week and then started tripping again.A couple of minor issues: The electric can opener is on it's last leg and the exhaust fan in the back bathroom is noisier than normal. I will and have recommended Sand Dollar to our friends but unfortunately I would not recommend this unit until the king bed is replaced.

We really enjoyed our stay and it was long over due since we didn't get to come the year before due to covid. Everything was great till our last night there when kids that were not staying here were jumping the fence and knocking on random doors looking for someone they met. They also were carrying a bird with them they caught by the pier, the security guard was not the one from previous nights and didn't seem to care about them doing things they shouldn't.

This is a lovely condo, large, fully equipped and just comfortable. We did have an issue with the air conditioning however, I called the emergency number I spoke to Laura, who by the way was so helpful, within the hour a repair was there and the problem solved. It was just a great location and the views amazing. Pool and hot tub were great as well. The grounds were kept clean and sanitized daily. We are going back in October and we can't wait.

Sand Dollar continues to be our favorite vacation spot. The amenities are nice and the location is amazing. The beach is never over-crowded. The staff at Sand Dollar continues to be the friendliest staff we have ever come across in our vacation travels.

Stayed in condo 509 from mid-January to early Feb. 2021. Overall, very pleasant stay. Staff was nice and accomodating; condo itself was large and spacious; bedrooms were very large; bathrooms were small; well stocked kitchen, plenty if silverware & pots and pans, may need additional pot holders; plenty of easy parking, even for large SUV's and full size p/u's; Pool and hot tub were clean. The condo appeared to be in the process of being updated, fresh coat of paint in the walls and ceiling; new flooring, etc. Dishwasher was broke upon arrival, new one installed latter part if the first week of our stay
