Sand Dollar 404

Watching dolphins in the morning and sunsets at night was amazing at this wonderful condo. Would've stayed out on the deck more as their chairs were comfortable too, unfortunately some of the neighbors were smoking on their decks but not the fault of these property owners. Front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful.

Sand Dollar has worked very hard post hurricane Helene to get the property in working order for residents and guests. The property looked great. The staff was wonderful to work with. Our condo was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. We already booked for next year!

This is our second time staying at the Sand Dollar. The condo is clean and comfortable. The beds are great and the view can't be beat. Even though the pool was not ready having the use the one just a very short walk away worked out well. The staff is always friendly

This was a very relaxing trip for my husband and I. We have stayed at Sand Dollar Resort a few times! Even with the pool area not available due to the recent hurricanes, we had plenty of beach and sun time!! We enjoy walking on the beach every morning. The unit we stayed in had a perfect view and had everything we needed! The staff is so nice and very helpful! We will be back.

We loved our stay here. The view alone makes this property worth every penny. Really, our only complaint was the AC. It never got above 79°. Although, it never got below 76° either. In my stage of life, that was an issue for me. Besides that, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The people at the front desk were kind and helpful. Overall a good experience. I would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed every second of our time at this beautiful property! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and helpful! We spent most of our time on the beautiful beach, but loved the pool and jacuzzi as well! So many fun things within walking distance! We won trivia at Friendlys tavern and made some really great friends! We hope to come back to this beautiful location soon!

The facility is everything my wife and I were looking for: safe, clean, pool a no d close to the beach. The front office was staffed by a team who were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I chose not to rent a vehicle, instead we walked, used the trolley and took advantage of Publix's dedicated shopper along with delivery directly to the room. Publix's service was inexpensive, prompt and very convenient. The pool and hot tub were clean and convenient. The facility was literally steps from the beach. We were so impressed we have booked the same room for next year. We highly recommend the Sand Dollar.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 20 days at the Sand Dollar. The location was excellent, just steps from a clean lovely beach that seems to go on forever in each direction. The entire property has security as a primary consideration. Staff were present all the time and were extremely friendly and helpful. We chose not to rent a vehicle,we walked and took advantage of public transportation. We highly recommend Publix for food delivery, inexpensive and prompt and convenient. We plan on booking for next year. We had a wonderful experience.

The condo was gorgeous. Very clean, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and then some. I loved my mornings with my coffee on the balcony. And watching the sunset set every evening. Highly recommend driving up to IRB to VIP for lunch/dinner. Food was incredible. The staff at Sand Dollar was very welcoming and helpful. The only negative thing I can say is the en suite shower had little water pressure and was barely luke warm. It was so hot the week we stayed that I didn't mind a cool shower. But would have liked a tad more water pressure. It did not affect my vacation at all. It was perfect!

The property and condo was beautiful! Very well kept and had everything we needed to feel at home. The views from the balcony never got old. We could sit out there all day. I spent a majority of the week trying to figure out where the owners bought the couch. It was amazing!!! Still wish that I knew. Make no hesitation when booking this condo. It’s a gem!

We had a bad experience with a rundown booking not a JCResort property when we arrived. Through friends I was given Holly as the contact at Sand Dollar. She efficiently checked to see if she had space available. She provided us with a clean, beautiful condo for the first 4 days of our stay the remainder of the vacation at a sister hotel also very nice clean and comfortable. The girls on reception really make you feel valued and nothing was too much of a problem for them. The other customers make this place also, everyone is chilled, happy and have ready smiles on their faces. The condo we stayed in was 404, bright, airy, modern and comfortable and a home from home. The only down side was about 2 nights in I think we had the Miami Dolphins next door to us practicing their defensive skills. It was only for 2 nights but got to a point that it had to be addressed. The shell of the building is concrete which is not good at absorbing sound and it was therefore difficult to isolate exactly where the noise was coming from. Thankfully, the 'suspects' were soon gone and the peace and relaxing vibe soon returned. The beach and waters were fantastic and we spent many, many hours out there - even the daily thundrstorms and rain could not dampen our enjoyment, in fact it was fascinating to watch. We only stayed a week, and were back to Miami for a cruise. However, I honestly would have preferred another week at Sand Dollar. I hope it won't be another 20 years before we return!!!!

Everyone was very happy with their place. We had a Great time and the beach was cleaned up every morning from the red tide. The staff was very helpful in person and everytime I had called the resort before we came down. My son loved that he could still work out down the street at the local fitness center,compliments of JC Resorts. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was very clean. The few complaints we had was the hot tub's heater stopped working so we didn't get to enjoy it the last few nights. Also, if ya check-in on a Saturday the elevator gets a little backed up which kinda sucks since they only have one. The random shopping carts did throw me off when we pulled up but they worked great for loading up everything. We would definitely stay at The Sand Dollar again. We had a Fabulous time! Thank you!

My only complaint is the room's cable provider did not have enough stations for my young children to watch. We had to rely on using on demand so they had to watch the same things over and over all week. But you don't really go to the beach to watch tv. Our favorite restaurants are Jimmy Guana's, SeaBreeze and of course Crabby Bill's.

Stayed here as a quick vacation before dropping our daughter off at University of Tampa. Very spacious and clean. Beautiful view of the beach. Used the beach chairs and umbrella provided. Check in was easy and everyone was very friendly. Great place to relax.

My family and I went down to Indian Shores the first week of August and between the 24 of us we had rented 5 condos. Everyone was very happy with their place. We had a Great time and the beach was cleaned up every morning from the red tide. The staff was very helpful in person and everytime I had called the resort before we came down. This area is absolutely phenomenal, it is our second stay in two months! It’s very laid back with many local restaurants, the beach isn’t crowded, yet Clearwater and St Pete are a very short drive if you’re looking for more of the tourist areas. This condo had amazing beachfront and ocean views with stunning sunsets!! We appreciated the large comfy couch for lounging in the living room when we needed a break from the sun. It’s close walking distance to the pool yet far enough away so you don’t hear the pool noise while in your room (this was very important to us). We were a bit disappointed in the lack of available kitchen items (no spices including salt/pepper, paper towels, condiments, dish soap, etc.) which we’ve had at other condos in the area but instead had to buy during our stay here. I’m not sure if that is typical or just Covid related, but that is really our only complaint. The buildings in this area are older but the owners did a very nice job of updating this unit. We were extremely happy with our stay!

Condo complex was great! Loved the smaller amount of units! Beach and pool area were clean! We will more than likely rent this unit again next summer! Only downfall of the unit was the dryer! It was very loud and didn’t dry very well! Other than that, we had a great experience! Thanks!

The rental was exactly as described! It was in the perfect location and we were able to enjoy a nice family vacation without all the chaos of a busy tourist spot. The unit came with beach chairs and a small cooler which was a nice surprise. The property manager I spoke with over the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions a few months before the trip. However, on the actual day of our arrival we had some trouble checking in. I'm not sure if it was the same person I had spoke with over the phone or not. Overall, this place is definitely worth the stay.

We spent a week at this condo and really enjoyed our stay! What we loved: - The check in process was smooth and easy and the women at the front desk were very friendly and I felt like they were conveniently available if we needed anything, which is unique to other condos we've stayed in near here. - The condo was nicely furnished and felt modern and new. It felt like there was plenty of space for everything. - The view of the beach and pier was like a postcard! It was beautiful and relaxing. We especially loved the pair of high deck chairs on the balcony that helped us easily look over the railing to enjoy our coffee in the morning and watch the sunset every evening. The sunsets from the balcony were priceless. - The master bedroom felt very spacious with a walk in closet and plenty of room for our stuff. The closet also contained a couple of nice beach chairs, umbrellas, and other items for the beach. - There was cable TV in each room. - It was spring break the week we were there, and although there were a fair amount of people on the beach, using the BBQ grills, pool, etc., it didn't feel overly crowded, even during this busy time. What we weren't prepared for: - Be aware that many people are checking in at the same time on the same day and it may cause a slight bit of a backup to get checked in and get things up to the room. - The condo was on the 4th floor (5th floor from ground level) which was awesome for the view, but there was one elevator for the entire complex, and it held about 6-8 people comfortably. With COVID, it felt a little awkward at times in the elevator. - It wasn't a big deal, and we didn't notice it from the pictures of the condo, but the master bedroom does not have an "on suite" bathroom, but the bedroom with the 2 queen beds did. - You can't control the people who stay in the condo units around you, and the family above us were a bit noisy at times. Additionally, while the condo units are non-smoking, that didn't stop those around us from smoking on their balconies, which was a bit off-putting. - The condo had wifi, but my kids complained that they sometimes had a difficult time getting a wifi signal in the back bedroom. - We have AT&T cell phones, and we had a difficult time getting a cell signal anywhere in the condo except on the balcony. Overall, we had an incredible stay, loved the condo and the location, and we'd definitely stay in this unit again if it's available for our next trip!
