Emerald Isle 404

This was our third annual stay at Emerald Isle. Condo 404 was very clean and comfortable and met all our needs for our stay for our family of 4. The beach was wonderful like always. The pool was still not open due to last year's hurricane, but the patio and entrance to the beach were open so we did not miss the pool. We love that there is a Dunkin right across the street. The JC Resort Management staff are always friendly and helpful. We plan to return again next year!

Love Emerald Isle- great location right on the beach, not too big. Coco Wood, Conch & Mario's were our favorite restaurants this time around. Everyone was friendly and were appreciative of the business while reconstructing from the hurricane damage.

Reviewer Comments: First impressions speak volumes, so when we showed up at 4:00 to check in after driving 14 hours and we were told our room wasn’t ready, we were shocked. We signed papers saying check out was 10:00 am and we would be charged if that time wasn’t met. Professionally, check in should be ready at 4:00. I was told check in just started then...not guaranteed.. but they couldn’t tell me when the room would be ready. I asked for a rough idea and I felt like the desk staff was rude. The pool chairs are dirty/stained with sunscreen, built up residue, and a bit outdated. Our beds pillows smelled dirty, the shower floor was old a stained. There was a used wash cloth in the hall bathroom. There could me more silverware in general, we only had enough for about one meal before we ran out. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location, but there could be some improvements.

Great view and a quiet place. Perfect for the week. Could use some new shower heads. TV was not able to connect for streaming. All in all Minor inconvenience we will return next year.

The unit was very nice and overlooked the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Couldn't figure out the coffeemaker and there was a problem with the dishwasher. The pool was nice but rather small. If there are kids staying, the pool is not quiet and no one around to calm things if necessary. For the most part it was a nice place to stay.

Lovely condo, great location, clean and we'll stocked. If I had to make an improvement I would change the queen bed to a king. The queen was in good shape and comfortable but there is room for a king and that would be nice. Will definitely stay again.

The condo and property were excellent. The check in process was a bit of a pain. That occurs at a different condo down the street. They told us it was ready and had to wait. Went back and found the cleaning ladies leaving and they showed me where they had texted that our unit was done and ready and that was before we were turned away. Other than that, a wonderful time, great condo, great location.

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo. Views from balcony are absolutely beautiful. You are literally steps away from the beach in this condo. We would definitely stay here again. Only thing I would suggest to the owner is to have basic household items on hand, as we had to purchase hand soap for bathrooms and kitchen, paper towels, garbage bags, zip lock bags, dish soap, and toilet paper. This would not stop me from returning by any means, just a helpful suggestion. I would highly recommend booking this condo!!

Emerald Isle 404 is a great 2 bedroom unit. Very well decorated and equipped. Recommendations to the owner... Please upgrade the bed in the master to a king size. Also, consider adding more pairing knives for meal prep and mor overall utensils and sheet pans to the kitchen. It's very helpful for those of us that like to grill out.

The condo was well equipped with everything we needed, including chairs and umbrellas for the beach but condo could have been cleaner being that they charge a cleaning fee, the shower heads need replacing and the toilets don't flush well and are moldy in the tank, also the a/c is set so you can not go below 70 degrees, if these things were addressed then it would have been almost perfect, we did enjoy the view and the close location just steps to the beach.

This condo was exactly what we were hoping it would be for our family beach vacation. The interior pictures are accurate and the balcony view is much better in person than the photos! It is located right on the beach, decorated beautifully, updated, comfy/cozy and a perfect fit for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and the location was convenient to many restaurants and Johns Pass just a few miles away. Views are amazing from the balcony overlooking the beach and the many windows throughout. Sunsets were beautiful! It was a peaceful stay with plenty of room at the pool and beach. The property management was great to work with and very friendly! We can’t wait to come back again!

My husband and I had a wonderful time with our best friends in may at N. Reddington beach. Our condo was super clean, nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully functional and the AC was super cool. The area was very quiet and the beach wasn’t over crowded. The ladies at the front desk were more than accommodating. This was a wonderful purchase for the price. Will definitely be back!!

This was our fifth year in a row renting from JC Rentals and the second time we've stayed at Emerald Isle. Since we had no young kids with us, it was a perfect place for the two of us and our grown son. The condo was beautiful and very, very clean. The master bed was the most comfortable bed we've EVER had in a condo! The pool itself is small so if we had young kids with us it might not have been the best place but for two retired adults and a grown son, it was the perfect spot and condo!

Can’t say enough about this vacation! The two bedroom up to date unit had a fabulous ocean view from the balcony. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need including a Keurig. The master bed was probably the MOST comfortable I’ve slept in! I wanted to take it home! The decor is what you expect to reflect the beach atmosphere! I was concerned about not having an in unit washer/dryer but it wasn’t too inconvenient as the common one was just a few steps away from the unit and was never occupied when I wanted it (costs $1 to wash and another $1 to dry). The facility was very secure as you needed a key to enter the building and also to access the pool and beach. You also have an assigned parking spot which is very nice as you never worry if you will find a spot! North Redington Beach area is an excellent place to spend a week or longer! The beach is very clean and the sand is so soft! The sunsets are fabulous so plan on being on the beach or the balcony for great pictures! The warm was so warm (we were there last week of June) and was clear and calm most days. You are centered close enough to Clearwater to take advantage of their shops and restaurants only about 30 minutes. Also John’s Pass in Madeira Beach is just about 5 miles south. We spent many days there eating in their restaurants and shopping! There’s also excellent local restaurants anywhere in between! We loved The Conch very close to the unit, PJs in Indian Rocks, and Crabby Bills! There’s lots of ice cream shops and fabulous Putt Putt courses! Take advantage of kayak touring through the Mangroves. It’s something you will never forget! Book early so you will not miss out! A week here in this unit is well worth your vacation time! Book it!
